It is the range Google Keyword Planner shows for what advertisers have historically bid to appear above the organic results for a keyword. The low end is Google's lower estimate and the high end is its upper estimate. It is a bid estimate, not the average cost per click an account actually pays.
Will I pay the high end of the range for every click?
Usually not. Your actual cost per click is often below the high end of the range. It depends on your Quality Score, your ad rank and how many advertisers compete on the day. Treat the range as a planning guide for budget, not a price list.
Why are the Riyadh figures shown in AED?
Every figure on this page is shown in AED so that Dubai, Riyadh and the country comparison can be read side by side. Each industry breakdown lists the individual keywords, their monthly searches and their bid ranges.
How was the country comparison calculated?
For each of 8 verticals we took 4 English keywords, pulled the Keyword Planner top of page bid for each of the 6 countries, and used the median of the high range bid. Keywords where Google returned no bid estimate were left out of the median.
