Google Ads for branches · UAE

Google Ads for Businesses with Several Branches in the UAE

Short answer: a business with branches across the UAE gets the most from Google Ads when each branch or emirate has its own campaign and budget line, its own location targeting, and location assets linked from its Google Business Profile, so the ad shows the nearest address, the distance and a Call button, and can appear on Google Maps. Calls and WhatsApp leads are then counted per branch, because Google forwarding numbers are not offered in the UAE. Big AL builds and runs this structure as part of our Google Ads management in Dubai, with fees from AED 7,000 a month.

Why Us

Why one campaign for every branch does not work

When all branches share one campaign and one budget, Google spends where it is easiest to get a click, which is usually the busiest branch in the busiest emirate. Quieter branches go dark, and the report shows one blended cost per lead that no branch manager recognises.

A budget line per branch or emirate

Each branch, or each emirate for smaller networks, gets its own campaign and budget, so a busy Dubai branch never starves the Abu Dhabi or Sharjah one.

Targeting around each branch

Location targeting follows how far customers actually travel to each branch, by emirate, area or a radius of at least 1 km, as Google requires.

The nearest address in the ad

Location assets linked from each Business Profile show the address, a map or the distance, and a Call button on mobile.

Ads on Google Maps

Location assets let ads appear on Google Maps, where people look for the nearest branch.

Calls and WhatsApp per branch

Phone taps and WhatsApp clicks are tracked per branch and logged in the CRM, since Google forwarding numbers are not offered in the UAE.

Reporting each manager trusts

Leads, bookings and cost per lead per branch, checked against your booking system or CRM every month.

How to structure Google Ads for several branches

Start with the branch list itself. Before building anything, we check that every branch has the same name, address, phone number and opening hours on its Google Business Profile, on your website and in your booking system or CRM. Ads built on a branch list that does not match send people to the wrong place, and closed locations in Business Profile do not show in ads at all.

Then choose the level. Networks with two to five branches usually get one campaign per branch. Larger networks get one campaign per emirate with an ad group or location group per branch, so the budget still follows each emirate while the ads show the right address. Each campaign has its own targeting, its own budget and its own branch page on your website.

Location assets and location groups

Location assets add the branch address, a map or the approximate travel distance to your ads. On mobile, people may see the distance and city and a Call button, with a details page showing hours, phone number, photos and directions. They can also show your ads on Google Maps.

The cleanest way to add them is to link the Business Profiles you manage. Google also allows up to 10 locations to be selected from Google Maps, as long as they belong to your business, and allows only one type of location asset per account. Locations can be applied at account, campaign or ad group level, and location groups let each campaign show only its own branches. Campaign-level settings override account-level ones, which is how a Sharjah campaign shows the Sharjah branch and never the one in Dubai.

Calls and WhatsApp: counting leads per branch in the UAE

Google forwarding numbers, which Google Ads uses to count calls from ads, are offered in 30 countries, and the UAE and Saudi Arabia are not among them. So we give each branch its own phone and WhatsApp button on its page and in its ads, track the taps as conversions per branch, and ask each branch to log real calls and bookings in the CRM or booking system.

That way a branch manager can see the leads their branch received, and the monthly report counts qualified callers per branch even where Google cannot tie a call to a click. Our page on Google Ads CRM integration explains how those logged stages go back to Google Ads.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How should a business with several branches structure Google Ads in the UAE?

Give each branch, or each emirate for larger networks, its own campaign and budget line, its own location targeting, and location assets linked from its Google Business Profile. Track calls and WhatsApp per branch and report cost per lead per branch, so no branch is starved by a busier one.

Q. Should we run one campaign for all branches?

Usually not. One shared campaign and budget lets Google spend where clicks are easiest, which is often the busiest branch. A campaign per branch, or per emirate with a group per branch, keeps budget and reporting separate, and lets each campaign show the right address.

Q. What are location assets in Google Ads?

Location assets add your branch address, a map or the approximate travel distance to your ads. On mobile they can show a Call button and a details page with hours, phone number, photos and directions. They also let your ads appear on Google Maps.

Q. Can each campaign show only its own branch?

Yes. Google lets you apply locations at account, campaign or ad group level and use location groups to pick a subset of branches. Campaign-level settings override account-level ones, so a Sharjah campaign can show only the Sharjah branch.

Q. Do we need a Google Business Profile for every branch?

It is the cleanest way. Linking verified Business Profiles keeps addresses, hours and phone numbers in one place. Google also allows up to 10 locations to be selected from Google Maps if they belong to your business. Locations marked as closed in Business Profile do not show in ads.

Q. Can Google Ads show our ads on Google Maps?

Yes. With location assets, ads can appear on Google Maps beside, above or below the results, including in the Maps app, which is where many people look for the nearest branch.

Q. How do you track calls and WhatsApp leads per branch in the UAE?

Google forwarding numbers are not offered in the UAE, so each branch gets its own phone and WhatsApp button on its page and in its ads. Taps are tracked as conversions per branch, and branches log real calls and bookings in the CRM or booking system so they count in the monthly report.

Q. How do you split the budget between branches?

Each branch or emirate gets its own budget line based on its capacity and the demand around it. Every month we compare cost per lead and bookings by branch, then move budget toward branches with spare capacity and good returns, and away from branches that are full or underperforming.

Q. What radius should each branch target?

It depends on how far customers travel. A clinic or salon may draw from a few kilometres, a showroom or service centre from a whole emirate. Google requires a radius of at least 1 km. We start from where existing customers come from and adjust from the search terms and leads.

Q. Do you run branch campaigns in Arabic and English?

Yes. Each branch campaign can carry English and Arabic ads, written in professional Arabic rather than machine translated, and the branch pages on your site can follow the same split.

Q. How fast can a new branch go live on Google Ads?

Most ads are reviewed within one business day. The slower step is usually the Business Profile: Google advises against creating a new profile if one exists, and verification takes time. We set up the branch campaign and tracking while the profile is verified, then add the location asset.

Q. What does multi-branch Google Ads management cost?

Big AL's management fees start from AED 7,000 a month, depending on the number of branches and channels. Ad spend is paid directly to Google from an account in your company's name. Weekly optimisation and monthly branch-level reporting are included.
